CESAMES

CESAMES

CESAMES was created in July 2009, in France, under the impulse of the Ecole-Polytechnique – Thales “Engineering of Complex Systems” chair, which is now also supported by Dassault Aviation, DCNS & DGA and two other French engineering schools, ENSTA ParisTech and Telecom ParisTech.

The initial mission of CESAMES – as provided by these academic and industrial partners – was to develop an international academic & professional reference ecosystem in France focused on systems architecture and engineering. This objective was quickly achieved as it can measured by the great success of the very first “Complex Systems Design & Management” conference, organized by CESAMES in 2010, that gathered more than 200 academic & industrial participants.

CESAMES developed then world-class methods in Enterprise & Systems Architecture upon which our training & consulting offers are constructed since 2011. It is currently organized in three entities that achieve training, consulting and research in France, but also in the North America and Asia-Pacific areas :

  • A community animation entity, in charge of proposing animation activities & offers to academic & professional communities of enterprise & systems architects,
  • A training & consulting entity, that proposes a large variety of training & consulting solutions in Enterprise & Systems Architecture. The departement is structured in two competency poles: “Enterprise Architecture” and “Systems Architecture”.
  • An innovation entity, in charge of supporting companies by providing them tools and methods for mastering their projects.
